Gloria Dunham

Gloria Dunham was born Gloria Harben, to parents, her father, Smith Harbin. And Mother, Willie Smith, in Pacific Leon California.

Gloria had 1 sibling, a sister…Suzette Harben, a 1960s Hollywood film star.

Gloria was married over 60 years to Harold Dunham…recently deceased October 7th last year. They were a classic couple, always complementing each other, every day. So in true fashion Harold went 1st. Got everything prepared in Heaven. Then Gloria followed.

Gloria had 3 Children. Christie the oldest daughter. Kathrine…the 2nd and youngest daughter. And their youngest child…Harold Jr.

She had 4 Grandchildren.  Christopher Johnson, Tracee Dunham, Peyden Edwards, and Nicole McCrary. She adored them all.

She had 2 Great-grand-children Jayce Johnson…and Ian Edwards. Ian and Jayce probably won’t remember her much, but we have enough family videos and pictures to remind them.

Growing up, Gloria loved to play tennis, and loved bowling.

Gloria had a love for small dogs. Like Muffin, their small poodle that woke the family one Christmas Eve night, barking when she smelled smoke from a fire in the family home. There was Popeye…another small dog, who didn’t like me much at 1st. But just like Gloria…took a liking to me eventually. And Speedy…her mini Doberman, that slept under Gloria’ side of the bed at night. And now sleeps at the foot of my bed.

Gloria was a strong Christian who attended Church on Sundays with Harold, when she was up to it.

She had friends and family, that would drive hundreds of miles just to stop in and say, “Hello,” & “How are you doing?” Those who knew her, knows her reply was always…” I’m hanging in there.”

I don’t know of a living soul that ever said a bad thing about Gloria.

Simply put…. Gloria tried to live her best life.
