Alfredo Inovejas

A mass of Christian burial for retired Sgt. 1st Class Alfredo L. Inovejas, 79, of Killeen will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Karel Fink officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.

Mr. Inovejas died Nov. 3, 2010, at a local hospital. He was born Nov. 23, 1930, in Waimanalo, Hawaii.

Survivors include his sons, Dexter Inovejas and wife, Lynn Zynda, of College Station and their children, Henry, Ann and Mary Inovejas, Kintaro Inovejas and his wife, Alison Carpenter Inovejas, of Austin and their children, Evelyn and Ivan Inovejas sisters, Philomena Yacap and Cariedad Gosiaco of Hawaii and Dora Campbell of Lawton, Okla.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a church of your choice.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
