Alice Jean Crumley

Alice was born in Scobey, Mississippi on March 8, 1962, to parents Fred Baggett and Hildred Johnson. Alice Jean Crumley, 61, of Killeen, gained her wings on September 24, 2023. Alice, (known as Hullee to her family) joined the Church of Christ at an early age and was a woman of God. She lived in Killeen for 37 years. Hullee was a wonderful and loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend. Alice was the life of the party, had a smile that would light up the room, and marched to the beat of her own drum. She was a people person, always had a heart of gold, kept a positive mindset, and never let her bad days outweigh her good days. Alice fought a good fight until the very end.

This is not goodbye; we’ll see her again.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Baggett and Hildred Johnson; husband, William Crumley; brother, Joe Baggett; and sister, Mattie Baggett.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children from her previous union with Bonnie Taylor Sr., son, Bonnie Taylor Jr.; daughters, Tonya N. Taylor and Shianca L. Taylor; sisters, Earline (Rickey) Willis, and Betty Johnson Phillips; brothers, Chuck Baggett, Will (Maggie) Baggett, and Michael Baggett; son-in-law, Demetrius Easterling Sr.; grandchildren, Demetrius Easterling Jr., Demarrion Easterling, and Sha’nyla Easterling; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A special thanks to the ICU Dept. of Advent Health; the ICU and Hospice Dept. at Baylor Scott & White; Pat Mason, and Sister Edye Rosebur.
