Allen Bowles

Services for Allen Gene Bowles will be 11:00 am Saturday July 16, 2016 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ken Adams officiating.
Burial will follow in Killeen City Cemetery.

Allen was born in Killeen, TX, on July 4, 1949 to the late Billy G. & Merle Dean (Springer) Bowles. He was raised in the area and attended Killeen schools.
Allen became a Master Electrician in 1973, and he worked many years side by side with his brother, Royce. He married the love of his life Pamela Kay Cipriano in 1971.
She preceded him in death in 2006.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Linda Kay Bowles and René Bowles.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Christopher Bowles (Stephanie) of Virginia; Brother, Royce Bowles (Delores) of Killeen; Grandchildren, Jason Bowles & Ava Bowles of Virginia, Nieces, Shelley Bowles Biondo of Georgetown, Linda René Thomas of Dallas & Tasha Kay Stafford of Giddings.
He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

As a young man Allen loved riding bulls and bareback horses.
Allen was extremely proud of his son and grandchildren, his most cherished possessions were family pictures, drawings by his grandchildren, and the cards and phone calls from his son.

Visitation will be Saturday July16, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
