Angelita Rivera

Services for Angelita Rivera will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Vincent Romuald officiating. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.

Mrs. Rivera died June 21, 2013, at her home in Kempner. She was born Jan. 27, 1937, in Villalba, Puerto Rico.
She will be missed and remembered by all those whose lives she touched.

Mrs. Rivera was preceded in death by her parents, Clotilde Torres and Baudilio Otero and her brother, Rene Torres.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Carlos Rivera Sr. her daughter, Ada E. Martinez and her husband, Angel L. Martinez, of Kempner her daughter, Mayra L. Rivera, of Sevierville, Tenn. her son, Carlos Rivera Jr. of Killeen daughter, Judy A. Martinez of Killeen 12 grandchildren 10 greatgrandchildren, who lovingly called her Mama her sister, Miriam Luna brother, Oscar Torres of Waukegan, Ill. brother, Virgilio Negron Jr. of Villalba, Puerto Rico and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
