Betty Allen

Betty was born on September 11, 1941 in Tyler, TX She passed away on Saturday October 7, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Graveside services are pending and will be at Tyler Memorial Park in Tyler TX.

She leaves a legacy of love behind. Surviving are her 4 children Marc Harper (Marvin) of Addison, TX, Tami Edwards (Jeff) of Killeen, TX, Russell Harper (Dixie) of Lake Kiowa, TX, and Clifton Allen of New Castle, DE, 8 grandchildren Ryan, Nicki, Kassidy, Cody, Jeffrey, Tyler, Sean, Cooper, 3 great grandchildren, Corbin, Levi, and one on the way.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, JF and Mertie Elliott, parents, ED and Marine Walker and brother James E. Walker.

She will be remembered for the love of her children, grandchildren, sports, spirit and her heart of gold. She touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. Her family and friends from all over will remember her for her infectious laugh, her love of cooking and last but not least Bingo!

Arrangements are being handled by Harper-Talasek of Killeen, TX and Tyler Memorial Park of Tyler, TX. Services will be held December 2, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tyler Memorial Park of Tyler, Texas.
