Beulah Barrios

A funeral service for Beulah Kennedy Barrios, 89, of Killeen will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen with Rev. Jack Husung and Rev. Ashley Payne officiating. Burial will follow at the Killeen City Cemetery.

Mrs. Barrios died September 1, 2019.

She was born June 4, 1930, in Harriman, Tennessee to the late Colonel and Sadie (Lavander) Kennedy.

Mrs. Barrios married Benson J. Barrios in Browns Mill, N.J., in 1950. She was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School class and of Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen.

A lover of music, she loved to play her guitar and sing specials during the worship services.

Her favorite songs were "I'll Fly away" and "Beulah Land", but she loved many more.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benson and her daughter, Carroll Herman.

A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
