Graveside services for Billy Don Chivers will be held at 10:00 A.M. at Moffat Cemetery, Temple, on Friday August 31, 2018.

Mr. Billy Don Chivers, 75, died August 23, 2018, at a hospital in Harker Heights. He was born September 25, 1942 in Edna, Texas, the son of the late Al E. Chivers and Nancy E. McDonald.

Billy Don met and fell in love with Edna Fay Green and married on June 15, 1962. They had 3 beautiful children together.

Mr. Chivers was a life long truck driver until he retired. He was a fantastic provider, husband and father.

Billy loved being out in the country and he treasured his many cats and dogs. No cat or dog was unwelcome at his home. He was a big fan of fishing, hunting, fish fry's and spending time with his family.

Mr. Chivers is survived by his wife, Edna Fay Chivers: their children, Cynthia Ann Brown, Billy Wayne Chivers (Sandra), and Paskell William Chivers. He is also survived by grandchildren; Mindy (Scott) White, Amy D. Daughterty, Ashley & Robin, Billy Ray, John & Mercedes, Lane Chivers, Kelly Chivers ; great grandkids, Dylan, Shelby, Abigail, Daugherty children, Kyrie and Kendall; close family members to include, Travis Glenn May, Mary L. May, Kim Good & family, Stormie May & family, Stella Talley, Teresa Talley, Devona Talley, Randy Tolley & family; counsins, Donny Joe (Lisa) and family, Curtis Ray (Ella) Ake & family; uncle Bill (Monnie) Green, Albert (Karen) Green and many other family members.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, Al E. Chivers; Mother, Nancy E. Chivers; uncle Joe Green, Sister Patsy (Runt) Ake.

Billy Don Chivers was loved by all and he loved all in return.
