Bobbie Brunson

Services for Bobbie Brunson, 78, of Killeen, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.BRBRBrunson died March 28, 2008, at her residence. She was born Nov. 9, 1929, in San Saba.BRBRBrunson was born to John Q. Ragsdale and Gladys Parks-Anderson. She and her parents moved in 1946 to Killeen, where her father started a small appliance business. Later, she was hired for a local telephone company as an accounting clerk and cashier. Following that position, she worked for a local lumber company selling flooring.BRBRShe married Paul Brunson and retired from formal work, and became a long time volunteer for the Fort Hood Thrift Shop.BRBRNow she will be with her best friend and husband, Paul, along with other family members. She will be missed immensely.BRBRShe is preceded in death by her husband; sons Raymond Noble Jr., James Thomas and Kenneth Brunson; and parents.BRBRBrunson is survived by her daughters, Rebecca A. Norris and husband Jeral Norris, Susan M. Williams and husband Loren I. Williams; Penny Carr and husband Jack Carr; Donna Noble; Bobbie Jo Brunson; Laurenda Linder; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
