Bruce Adams Peoples Sr., 90, of Killeen, passed away on August 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. 

Bruce was born on June 28, 1936, in Effingham, Georgia, to Haywood Alton Peoples and Florence Leola Samuels. He worked for many years as a construction foreman. Throughout his life, Bruce enjoyed bowling, dancing, fishing, and spending time at church. He will be remembered for the life he built, the memories he shared, and the love he had for his family. 

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Haywood Peoples and Florence Leola Samuels; his wife, Carrie Mae Peoples; his sons, Bruce Peoples Jr. and Isaac Jerome Peoples; and his grandson, Michael Peoples.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Willie Pearl; his son, Ronald Peoples; his daughters, Beatrice Peoples and Sonya Peoples; his grandchildren, Isaac Dion Williams, Isaac Peoples Jr. Gloria Peoples, Artis Gilmore, Arthur Peoples, Eric Rosario, David Rosario, Ronald Peoples Jr., and Richie Rosario; as well as his great-grandchildren, Jadin Peoples, Isaac Peoples III, Isaiah Williams, Isaac Dion Williams Jr., David Rosario Jr., Christopher Rosario, Marcus Peoples, Jayla Nicole Peoples, and other beloved family members.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
