Carol Patterson

Funeral services for Carol Ann Patterson, 73, of Harker Heights, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Marlboro Heights Missionary Baptist Church.
Carol Ann was the third of ten children born to Lawrence and Margaret Williams on July 24, 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Carol always had a heart to care for the young and the elderly. She enjoyed doing word puzzles, watching old Clint Eastwood movies, and spending time with family, but the true love of her life was her children and grandchildren. She devoted her life to caring for her grandchildren while her daughter served in the military, educating them and teaching them to always trust in God. She took great joy in making people happy. She was preceded in death by one son, Floyd Joseph Patterson brother Lawrence Williams Jr. sisters, Catherine Williams, Betty Spiller, Gwendolyn Williams and Janice Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas Green Patterson Sr. of New Orleans, LA sons, Douglas Green Patterson Jr. of Fayetteville, NC David Patterson of Harker Heights, TX daughter, Angela Annette PattersonYoung of Harker Heights, TX grandchildren Ronnica PattersonArmour, Andrew James Young Jr. Douglas Green Patterson III, Andrea Carolyn Young great grandchildren, Douglas G. Patterson IV, Destiny Patterson, Amaria Armour, Devin Patterson Parents Lawrence Williams Sr. and Margaret PierreWilliams Grandparents Remi and Josephine Pierre
