Carolyn Nigreville

A Celebration of Life service for Ms. Carolyn June Nigreville, 79, of Killeen will be held Thursday July 7th at 10AM at Harper-Talasek Chapel in Killeen. A private burial will follow.

Carolyn passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 in a local hospital.
She was born in Alabama to Corrie C. and Percy Lee Gentry SR. She moved to Texas in 1964. She worked for the state of Texas, where she retired in 1997.

Carolyn was a loving mother and grandmother, who devoted her life to her family. She loved to keep company with her family and close friends. She found enjoyment in simple pleasures such as reading a good book working in her yard. She filled her family lives with stories of her youth and family history.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother and sister.

Survivors include her two children, Huey Paul Nigreville JR and Sabrina Marie Nigreville. Two grandchildren, Raven Leigh Gentry Nigreville and Paul Anthony Nigreville-Martinez. Three nephews, Lee Gentry, Bill Landreau and Buster Landreau. One niece, Susan Landreau. She also leaves behind one great nephew and two great nieces, as well as other beloved family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
