Cecil Prato Jr.

Cecil (Cec) Prato Jr.,72 of Copperas Cove Texas, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019, after a short illness. Cec was born on March 28, 1947, in Fontana California. He is preceded in death by his father Cecil Prato Sr., and his mother,  Helen Cambou. He is survived by his sisters, Marie and Pam; three brothers, Bob, John, and Chaz. Three daughters; Kathy Hill of Waco; Sherry Andrews of Copperas Cove, and Tina Ciraulo of Killeen Texas. Nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Cec retired from the United States Army with the rank of SFC after twenty years of service. He served two combat tours in Vietnam.

Cec enjoyed watching baseball, especially the California Angels. He also loved bowling, collecting baseball cards, coins and spending time with his friends at the VFW.

He adored his girls and grandchildren!

Cec will always be remembered as a hero in everybody’s eyes who knew him!
