Chad Levin

November 16, 1972 — December 16, 2017

Chad Warren Levin passed away suddenly on December 16, 2017 at his home in Belton,Texas. Chad was born on November 16, 1972 in Germany to Carl Irving Levin and Virginia Kathryn Hilles. Chad graduated from Killeen High School in 1991.

Chad became a fire fighter with Killeen Fire Department after graduating the fire academy in 1995, where he faithfully served the community until 1998. Chad was a small business owner for many years out of Salado, Texas where his customers were his friends and he treated them all like such. Chad loved the Longhorns, it didn't matter the sport, he'd watch it. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, football, COLD Coors Light, and sitting on the back porch.

Chad was an amazing and giving friend, that was always there when he was needed, even if it was 1am or last minute. Chad's proudest and most important contributions were his beloved children, all five of them. Chad took on the responsibility of a blended family with great passion and devotion, when he was remarried to Shannon Kruse in January of 2017. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do or work to overcome for his family, something that brought him immense pride and joy. His passing will leave an immeasurable void in the lives of all of his family and friends.

Chad is survived by his mother and father, Virginia and David Biggs, 2 sisters and 1 brother and spouses, Kimberly Ann Zimmerman/ Galen Richard Zimmerman, Kari Elizabeth Hibler/Slade Everett Hibler, Charles William Biggs/ Ginger Raelene Biggs, 3 sons, Austin Chad Levin, Noah Griffin Kruse, and Ezekiel Geer Kruse, 2 daughters Trinity Sarah Marie, Eden Channon Levin, and many nieces and nephews. Chad is preceded in death by his Father David Irving Levin.
