Charles Caldwell Culver passed away March 11, 2022, in Copperas Cove, Texas.
A graveside service will be held at Killeen City Cemetery on Friday, March 18 at 1 p.m.
He was born in Houston, Texas to Clinton and Irma Culver on February 22, 1934.
He joined the Air Force after graduating high school because it had always been his dream to fly. In 1960 he was stationed at Gray Air Force base in Killeen where he met and married Gay Lynn Sprott.
The Air Force moved them around frequently until he retired, and they came back to Killeen.
They had two children and five grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Gay, brother Allen and a granddaughter, Violet.
Survivors include his brother Richard Culver his wife Pat, sister Nina Corbin her husband Rel, daughter Carla Sutton her husband Jerry, his son Clay Culver. Grandchildren Tommie Ann Constantine, Rhonda Sutton, Corey Culver and Chase Culver. Great-grandchildren Marla Belle and Anthony Constantine.
