Charles Allen Sperbeck, Sr., 80, passed away on March 1, 2025, in Killeen, Texas. Born on April 3, 1944, in Pennsylvania, Charles was a man of deep faith who lived his life guided by the principles of Christ. His devotion to his beliefs shaped his character and inspired those around him.

Throughout his life, Charles demonstrated unwavering dedication to his family and community. He was intelligent, hardworking, and strong-willed, always striving to share kindness and wisdom with those he encountered. His influence extended far beyond his immediate family, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He is survived by his children: Gretchen Wilkening, Charles Sperbeck, Jr., Robert Sperbeck, Francis Mueller, and Ellen Lam. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Sperbeck; his daughter Trudy Sperbeck; and his granddaughter Eilise Wilkening.

Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, located at 6601 South Fort Hood Street in Killeen, Texas with a time of visitation starting at 10 am and funeral immediately following at 11 am. Charles will be laid to rest in New York at a later date.

His legacy of faith and perseverance will continue to live on through those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
