Christine Frye

March 7, 1956 — April 13, 2015

Christine Frye was born March 7, 1956 to the late Isaac Frye and late Mary Lee Gibson Frye in Natchez, Mississippi. At an early age she declared a hope of salvation through Jesus Christ and was baptized into the fellowship of Rose Hill #2 Baptist Church in Fayette, MS. Christine attended and graduated from Jefferson County High School, class of 1974.
Christine enlisted in the United States Army in 1975. Her meritorious military service was recognized with a myriad of honors and awards. Christine's exceptional service qualified her elevation to Captain in the Signal Corps. She resigned her active duty commitment for Reserve status and during that time, she joined the Women's Army Corps Veterans Association, Genevieve Chapter 94.
Christine received her AA in Business Management from the University of Maryland in 1982 and went on to complete her Bachelor of General Studies in 1988 from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX. For the last 16 years Christine was a dedicated employee for Wal- Mart # 407 where she was apart of the daytime modular team. On Monday, April 13, 2015, the Angels of Eternal Life blew their trumpets and called her home.

Christine leaves to cherish her memory forever a son Drexel Mosquera and daughter Nikaiya Pratt, four brothers Isaiah (Doris), Lee Arthur, Calvin and Dr. Ronald (Inger) Frye all of Fayette, MS; two sisters Addie Pearl Wordlaw of Dallas, TX and Maxine (Christopher) Tillman of Fayette, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Christine was preceded in death by her father, Isaac Frye, mother Mary Lee Frye, her brothers Alvin Frye, Samuel Frye, and John Frye.
