Christine D. Watkins was born on July 4, 1950 to Henry and Maggie Lou Dailey in Drewry, AL. She was the youngest girl of seven siblings.
She graduated in 1968 from Union High School in Monroeville, AL. After graduation, she lived in California until she met the love of life Mr. Kenneth Watkins. The two were joined in union on June 28, 1969 in Monroe County, AL. From their union, they had three beautiful children: Rendessa R. Watkins Johnson, Kenneth Watkins II and Juatyna T. Watkins. Christines heart continue to grow as she became the proud Grandmama to thirteen grandchildren. Those that knew Christine, knew without a doubt her family was one of her most prized possessions.
On July 26, 1972, Christine symbolized her dedication to Jehovah. She enjoyed and appreciated the protection of the Christian Congregation. For the last 42 years, she regularly shared in teaching others about Jehovah. She enjoyed all the association with her spiritual brothers and sisters.
She was a long time dedicated worker of Killeen ISD with 35 years of service. Christine worked with and shared a special passion for disabled children.
Friends have said of her that she was a beautiful person and always willing to share. She had a personality that automatically warmed your heart. She loved life and looked for every opportunity to put a smile on your face. Theres no doubt, if you met her she left an impression that would never be forgotten. Christine will be cherished and missed by many.
Christines family cannot wait for the day when they can see her beautiful face, hold her in an embrace and wipe these terrible memories from before them. That day will, without a doubt, come and it will wife out every tear from our eyes. Revelation 21:4
Christine was preceded in death by her mother and father Henry and Maggie Lou Dailey and brother John Astor Watson.
Christine is survived by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Watkins daughter Rendessa Johnson Duan and her children Artavia, Arthur, Duan Jr., DeAra and Khrystopher son Kenneth Watkins II and his children Chelsey, Keona and Daejah daughter Juatyna Watkins and her children JDyn, Ahmauriyah, Maalik, MaKye and Ahmerus sisters Arizona Booker T of Monroeville, AL Evelyn Bendolph Jim of Mobile, AL, and Willa Bell Mosley of Monroeville, AL brothers Robert Watson of Carson, CA, Clifton Watson Betty of West Covina, CA and Benny Melvin Dailey of Killeen, TX. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
