Christopher Copeland

September 22, 2009 — April 24, 2016

Christopher Alfred Copeland was born on September 22, 2009 in Killeen, Texas, one of two boys, to the union of Raymond Alfred Copeland and Brittany V. Sanders-Copeland.
One of five siblings Christopher, or as he was loving known as "Pher" by his immediate family, and loving referred to as "Brick" by his Grandmother (Mary Copeland), was always a delight to be around. Vibrant and full of life, he had a take charge and lead personality, in conjunction with being a stickler for rules which earned him the coveted "Go to" status in his classes where he excelled in his academics taking on cluster classes for the entirety of his educational span. A true Bat-man fan, Christopher, from a toddler was a defender of his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandfather (Raymond Copeland jr.) while at monthly ‘Men Meetings', where he developed a love for all things out doors. Christopher displayed excellent sports agility and a desire to play soccer since he was 4 years old. Recently, purely through the discovery of a skill not previously known and self-motivation, Christopher had begun honing his vocal talent, with parental hopes of future achievements.
Dedicated to the LORD on the 8th day of life, Christopher would go on to accept the Lord, as his LORD and personal savior, April 17, 2016 while in Children's' Service at Grace Christian Center in Killeen, Texas. With understanding and a love for the LORD, we trust that Christopher is now with his savior, and those family members in the LORD who have gone on before him.
Taken far too soon, on April 24, 2016, at the age of 6, Christopher lost his final battle with asthma. He is survived by three older sisters (Breanna Perry 20, Ashia Copeland 16, & Ashanna Copeland 9), a twin brother (Christian Copeland 6), his mother and dad, grandparents (Mary & Raymond Copeland II of Killeen, TX; Donna Perow of Killeen, TX; and Fredrick Sanders of Los Angeles, CA.), great grandparents (Margaret & Kenneth Lawrence jr, of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.), two Aunts and three uncles all of Killeen, Texas (Natasha Copeland-McCarty; and Brianne Giles; Richard Copeland; Brandon and Kendall Bell), and a host great aunts and uncles, as well as cousins and friends.
Christopher will forever be missed, and though absent from our presence, his memory will continue to live on both in and through us.
