Chun Hui Ortiz

Chun Hui Ortiz, 67, of Killeen, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Killeen, Texas.

Chun was born on January 8, 1957, in Seoul, Korea to parents, Chong Chin Yi and Ok Nam Pat. Our Mother was a wonderful person who loved and cared about her family wholeheartedly. She was always there to help or give you that last piece of dessert. She went through a lot after her husband, Robert Ortiz Sr., unexpectedly passed away in 2002. She stayed strong and continued to stay busy, where she worked proudly at the Rosewood Retirement Home for over 20 years as a dietary aide.

She loved her Korean TV shoes and was fascinated by outdoor living and survival. She had a passion for traveling and sightseeing, which we did a lot of during her last year with us. Her life was full of ups and downs, but she ultimately enjoyed everything life had to offer. She loved her 2 grandkids so very much.

Chun is preceded in death by parents, Chong Chin Yi and Ok Nam Pak; and husband, Robert A. Ortiz Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Ortiz Jr. and his wife, Zauresh; daughter, Sophia Price and husband, Joey; and her beloved grandkids, Tatum Ortiz and Alec Price.
