Claudine Arnold

Funeral services for Claudine V. Arnold, 88, of Killeen, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Killeen, with the Rev. Jimmy Towers and the Rev. Randy Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery,BRBRMrs. Arnold died Jan. 26, 2009, at a local nursing home. She was born Oct. 17, 1920, in Killeen, where she was educated. She was a lifelong resident of Killeen.BRBRThe loving mother and grandmother was a teacher's aide and a substitute teacher for KISD. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Killeen, the Ladies Auxiliary of the volunteer fire department; and she was a seamstress.BRBRMrs. Arnold was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Jack; four brothers; four sisters; one grandchild; and two great-grand-children.BRBRSurvivors include her daughters, Carolyn J. Howard, Cathy L. Sandage, both of Killeen, and Jean Ann Caffee of Orange Park, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.BRBRVisitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.BR.
