Conny Lynn Norman

Conny Lynn Norman, 67, of Killeen, passed away on August 7, 2023, in Temple, Texas. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24 from 10 am until noon at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 pm at Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery.

Conny was born to Martha Nella Rae Blackwell and Frank Norman in Dallas, Texas on November 8, 1955. He spent many years serving the U.S. Army as a Vulcan crewmember and vehicle mechanic before eventually becoming a prison guard.

Conny is preceded in death by his father, Frank Norman; mother, Martha Nella Rae Norman; son, Michael Norman; and sisters, Frankie Eppers, and Louise Garman.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Anita Norman of Killeen; son, Mark of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Billy and spouse, Ritha (Henry) Norman of Palestine, TX; and sisters, Evelyn Bynum of McAllen, TX, Shirley Lauterbach of Midlothian, TX, Dorothy and spouse, John T. Willians of Shady Shores, TX, and Betty Jo Penland of Dike, TX.
