Cruz Espinoza

Services for Cruz L. Espinoza, 76, of Killeen will be at 10 am, Monday at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Killeen. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery under direction of HarperTalasek Funeral Home of Killeen.


Ms. Cruz Espinosa known as Tia to family was born in Rossville, TX on May 3, 1936 to Jesus and Isabel Espinoza. Tia was always thinking of others first and put her own well being aside to assist a family member. She was ready to feed anyone who stepped foot in the house and take in anyone of her family members. Tia was very old fashioned in her ways, had a strong Catholic faith, and would let you know how she felt about things. She had strong work ethics and at times would hold down three jobs at a time and still would make time to take care of business at home. Tia will be missed and loved by all of her family but we know she is at peace.
Tia was truly blessed. She was born on May 3 1936 and departed this life on May 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Jesus Espinoza. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved mother, Isabel Espinoza two sisters, Rosa Garza and Santos Espinoza two brothers, Domingo Espinoza and Ofilio Espinoza and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Ms. Espinoza died May 10, 2012 at a Temple hospital.
She was born May 3, 1936.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 pm Sunday, with rosary starting at 7 pm at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
