Dan Thomas

Dan F. Thomas 84 of Killeen died October 26, 2018 at home. He was born on May 3, 1934 to Dennis C. and Augusta Mae Thomas in Temple Texas. He attended school in Temple. He married Joyce L. Schiller (Thomas) on September 27th 1958. This year they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He worked at Avenue Glass and Thomas Glass and Mirror in Temple, Texas; followed by working 37 years at Bell Glass and Mirror in Killeen, Texas. Dan was a family man he loved his family and friends. He was a dedicated husband to his wife Joyce. He loved to watch NASCAR races and he enjoyed driving around showing his family many different places around the Temple and Killeen area. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Bobby, Dennis (DC) and Albert Thomas and his grandson Kyle Thomas. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Joyce Thomas, his son Dennis Thomas (Clara) daughter Debra Green (Tim) and his three grandchildren Justin Thomas, Amy Green, Katye Cook (Brian) and his beloved four legged friend Granger. A viewing will be held at 9 A.M. followed by the funeral service at 10 A.M. on Friday November 2, 2018 at Harper Talasek Funeral home in Killeen. Interment will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
