David Quince Cockerham, age 57, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at his home in Killeen, Texas.
David was born on September 27, 1954 in Fairbanks, Alaska, to parents James William and Myrtle Louise Cockerham. David married the love of his life, Teresa Turnbo on May 18, 1980. He worked as a Marketing and Sales Manager for Time Warner Cable for over 20 years. David was an avid golfer and gardener. He enjoyed spoiling his dogs, Rocky, Lola, and Spartacus. David was at his happiest while spending time at home with Teresa, their children and grandchildren.
Mr. Cockerham was preceded in death by his father, James William Cockerham his mother, Myrtle Louise Cockerham and two brothers, James William Cockerham Jr. and Daniel Edward Cockerham.
Mr. Cockerham is survived by his wife of 32 years, Teresa Cockerham three sons, Casey Cockerham and his wife, Samantha of Katy, Cody Cockerham of Killeen, and Corey Cockerham and his wife Holly of Georgetown two grandchildren, Mikayla Cockerham and Van Cockerham one brother, John Cockerham and his wife, Darla of Killeen two sisters, Martha Edwards and her husband, Jodie of Gatesville, and Sarah Lynch and her husband, Rick of Harker Heights and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service, officiated by Pastor John Abbey, will be held at 2:00 in the afternoon on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Bethel Church, 4307 East Veterans Memorial Boulevard, in Killeen, Texas 76541.
