Funeral services for David Scott DeLanater 55, a resident of Hempstead, are at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen, Texas with Rev. Danny Wendt officiating. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery in Youngsport, TX.

David died December 28, 2008 in a Brenham hospital.

He was born July 25, 1953 on Selfridge Air Force Base in Mt. Clemons, Michigan. He was married to the former Miss Kennetha Sissy Hill of Killeen.

He is survived by his wife Kennetha DeLanater of Hempstead, TX..; his beloved daughter Amanda DeLanater of Hempstead, TX; Parents: James and Jean Northington of Prattville, AL.; Two Sisters: Nancy Lewis Johnny of Prattville, AL.; Kathy Pierce of Prattville, AL.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel.
