David Hale

Graveside Services for David Arthur Hale, 90, of Killeen, will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Hospice Chaplain Judy Hoelscher officiating. Arrangements are under direction of HarperTalasek Funeral Home of Killeen.
David passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at a local hospital. He was born on November 21, 1921 in Burnsville, Mississippi to the late Walter and Daisy Taylor Hale. On October 14, 1948 he married Jewell Pounders in Iuka, Mississippi.
He was a retired mechanic and a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife Jewell of Killeen three sons, Ralph Hale of Florence, James Hale of Temple, Steve Hale of Killeen three daughters, Kathy Soliz of Briggs, Becky Yaux of Belton and Kellie Hale of Killeen a sister, Mae Dell Sheppard of Wautaga four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
