Deanna Jackson

Graveside services for Deanna Kay Jackson, 60, of Killeen, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery.

Deanna Kay Jackson died October 7, 2012 in Temple, Texas. She was born November 10, 1951, in Pueblo, CO. She was a loving Wife and Mother.

Deanna is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ora G. Jackson.

She has a daughter, Crystalene Ruth Gonzalez of Killeen and a son, Ora Gene Jackson III of Houston. She also has family living in Missouri and Colorado.

Deanna loved to read and watch movies on Turner Classic Movies. She had a heart that was pure and did her best at whatever she did. She would take in stray animals and care for them until she thought they would survive on their own.

Deanna will always be loved and will be deeply missed as she remains in our hearts as life goes on.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
