Services for Deloris Christine Halle, 71, of Killeen will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Harper Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery. Deloris went to be with the Lord on Oct. 21, 2009, at a local hospital. BRBRChris was born July 30, 1938, in Gatesville to Calvin and Vera Cooper Price. Chris was a longtime resident of Killeen, where she worked for the Killeen Independent School District as principal's secretary at East Ward Elementary for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church Belton. Her favorite hobby and pastime was sewing and quilting. Chris enjoyed traveling to the Hill Country to view the Texas wildflowers in bloom each spring, and she cherished all of her time spent with her family and friends. BRBRChris was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Carl Halle. BRBRShe is survived by her daughter, Sandra Nagy and husband Steven Nagy; son, Rick Halle and his wife, Juanita Halle; granddaughters, Kendall Nagy and Sara Hawkins; grandson, Jason Hawkins; great-grandsons, Cole Hawkins and Maurice Hawkins; eight brothers and sisters, Shirley Lowrey, Ronald Price, Donna Newton, Betty Gabbert, Brenda Watson, Rhonda Walls, Terry Townsend and Tommy Townsend.
