A Note to My Granny

And to think I wasn't even born into your family granny. Nobody could tell outside of our family though. You loved me regardless, from the moment we met. You loved me hard, as if I were your own, because I was. You were the example for all of us, as to how we should love one another and care for one another and how we should look out for one another. You are and will forever be the matriarch along side granddad. I miss you so much granny. Rest in paradise.

Love,
Sherome

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Special Person

The one that keeps me up
The one that takes no stuff
My love my heart
The one who brightens the dark!
She keeps a smile on my face,
So I keep my love at one pace.
Her personality took me in,
My grandmother and also my friend.

She stepped up in my life,
And took me without a fight.
Her loveable soul,
And a heart with no holes!
To me she has been a mother,
Also to my sister and brother.
That's why I love her today
And she keeps a smile on my face!

Love,
LaTonya

There's an open gate at the end of the road
Through which each must go alone
And there, in the light we cannot see,
Our Father claims his own.
Beyond the gate our loved one
Finds happiness and rest.
And there is comfort in the thought,
That a loving God knows best.
