Dennis Johnson

August 21, 1964 — July 10, 2015

Dennis Roger Johnson was born to the parental stewardship of Charlie and Zeora T. Johnson on August 21, 1964 on the military installation of Fort Hood, located in the city of Killeen, Texas.
His formal education commenced at Marlboro Elementary School, continued at Manor Middle School and concluded upon his graduation from Killeen High School.

Reared in the fear and admonition of the Lord, Dennis made the best decision of his earthly life when he chose to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Subsequent to securing his eternal destiny in heaven, he united with the Marlboro Heights Missionary Baptist Church as a candidate for baptism. This would remain his place of worship for many years.
A man of responsibility, Dennis was employed at Professional Contract Service INC. Here he worked as a Kitchen and Food Service specialist on the military installation of Fort Hood.

Dennis is best depicted by family members, loved ones and friends who were graced with the pleasure of sharing his company as one who enjoyed living, loving and laughter. He lived consciously, loved compassionately and laughed creatively. He loved to tell a good joke and watch people laugh. It was as if he exercised to its full potential under the scriptural inspiration of Job 8:21 which says, "He will yet fill your mouth with laughter And your lips with shouting."

On July 10, 2015 Dennis embraced the loving summons of His Lord to exit this earthly realm, to enter into eternal rest. Among those who preceded his departure from this earthly life are: His father; Charlie D. Johnson and one brother, Ray Edward Johnson.

Among those left to cherish his memory until the Lord shall come or call are A loving mother: Zeora T. Johnson; four sisters: Glen Dean Johnson Brown of Killeen, Texas; Murlene Woods (Sam) of Shreveport, Louisiana; Sarah Wynn of Columbus, Georgia and Donna Taylor of Columbus, Georgia; three brothers: Charlie D. Johnson of Waco, Texas; Jerome Johnson of Denver, Colorado and Gregory J. Johnson of Houston, Texas and a host of other loved ones and friends.
