Diane Cumbie

Services for Diane J. Cumbie, 61, of Killeen will be 9 A.M. Friday at the East Lake Baptist Church with the Reverend Floyd Gage officiating.

Burial will follow in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mrs. Cumbie died Sunday, September 7, at her home.

She was born September 14, 1946, in Athens, Georgia. She was educated in Athens, Georgia. She married George Cumbie in 1990 and moved to Killeen. She was a volunteer for Killeen Police Department. She worked as a realtor for Century 21. She was a foster parent for Circle of Care and fostered 47 children. She was a member of East Lake Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years of Killeen; a son, David Schwarting of El Monte, California; four daughters, Rhonda Rudolph of Arcadia, California., Valarie Ellison of Whittier California., Amber Lea Cumbie of Athens, Georgia., and Faith Smith of Killeen; two brothers, Al Bradberry and Jerry Bradberry, both of Athens, Georgia.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be 8 A.M. Friday at the church.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home of Killeen is in charge of arrangements.
