Doris Barr

Doris Mae Ohpelia (Springman) Barr, 96, of Killeen, TX, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen beginning at 11 am following with burial at Killeen City Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10 am.

Mrs. Barr was born August 12, 1926 in Killeen. She resided and educated in Killeen. Doris was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Killeen. She worked at Ft. Hood for AAFES PX's and accounting office. She married Norwood Barr on September 13, 1952.

Mrs. Barr was the daughter of the late Richard and Louise (Schorn) Springman. She had one sister, Ruby Nell (Springman) Dana that passed in September.

She is survived by a daughter, granddaughter, 2 great-grandsons, a great-great-granddaughter, great-great-grandson, and her nieces and nephews.
