Doris Laverne Dykes DanielBRFuneral services for Doris Laverne Dykes Daniel, 84, of Temple, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Harper-Talasek Chapel with Boyce Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Killeen City Cemetery. Mrs. Daniel died Aug. 24, 2009, at a Temple nursing center. She was born Nov. 14, 1924. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.

Mrs. Daniel is survived by her sons Larry Jack Daniel of Odessa, Texas, Phillip Gary Daniel and Terry Wayne Daniel both of Levelland, Texas, and Paul Edwin Daniel of Belton, Texas. A brother, Curtis Dykes of Temple Texas and a sister, Marilynn Healy of Temple, Texas. Mrs. Daniel is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Jack L. Daniel and a brother Jimmie Dykes.BR
