Dorothy Holloway

Funeral services for Dorothy Holloway, 88, of Killeen will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen with Brother Jack Husung officiating. Burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Mrs. Holloway died June 19, 2010, at a Temple hospital.She was born May 3, 1922, in Fruitvale.

She married Monroe Holloway in 1939.

A mother and homemaker, Mrs. Holloway moved to Killeen in 1966. She was a member of Skyline Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Denntous Ray Holloway of Killeen two daughters, Cheryl Ann Garza of Temple and Doris Jean Stark of Round Rock seven grandchildren 12 greatgrandchildren and three greatgreatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elias Curnutt and Bonnie Lee Allen Curnutt a daughter, Linda Lee Holloway brothers, Orbin Curnutt, E.W. Curnutt, Cosby L. Curnutt and Warren Curnutt and a sister, Ellie Mae Curnutt.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. today at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
