Dorothy Mabe

Dorothy Marie Mabe was born on August 5th 1937 in Carthage, Texas. She moved to California and met Robert Frank Robinson. Dorothy married Robert at the age of 14. She had three children by the age 20, Robert Frank Robinson Jr., Dennis James Robinson, and Dawn Beverly Robinson. Her husband served in the Air Force and she and her family were stationed in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Thereafter, Dorothy returned to California around 1957, where she completed her degree at Valley College in San Bernardino as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked throughout her career in various nursing capacities, including mental health and nursing home services. By the age of 38, Dorothy had two more daughters, Melody and Joy Mabe, by her third husband James Edwin Mabe. Throughout her life, she resided in San Bernardino, California; Houston, Texas; and Harker Heights, Texas.

Dorothy was proceeded in death by her husbands, Arthur Frank Robinson and James Edwin Mabe Jr.; son, Dennis James Robinson; mother, Pearlie Mae McGrue; father, James Owens, Sr.; and brother, James Owens Jr. She leaves to her cherished memories, one son, three daughters, seven grand children, and eleven great grand children.
