Elfriede Dees

Funeral services for Elfriede Josephine Dees, 80, of Harker Heights, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen with Father Richard ORourke officiating. Burial will be at the Killeen City Cemetery.

Mrs. Dees died Dec. 7, 2010, in a Temple hospital. She was born May 17, 1930, in Straubing, Germany. She was a housewife and loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest L. Dees.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Dees of Harker Heights, Ernest Dees of Edmond, Okla., David Dees of Harker Heights and Kenneth Dees of Harker Heights daughters, Eva Nicholson of Tucson, Ariz., Elizabeth Dees of Fletcher, Okla., Doris White of Edmond, Okla., and Rebecca Cantu of Killeen 15 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
