Enriqueta De Estrella

Mrs. Enriqueta De Estrella, 68, of Killeen, Texas, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, January 4, 2025, while in Mexico City, Mexico. A celebration of her life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen. She will be laid to rest at North Belton Cemetery.

Born on July 13, 1956, in Veracruz, Mexico, to Jose Casco and Luisa Leon Casco, Enriqueta was a woman of deep faith, unwavering love, and quiet strength. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where her faith guided her daily life and inspired those around her.

Enriqueta’s heart was her family, to whom she gave herself fully and unconditionally. A proud and loving grandmother, she found immense joy in nurturing her family and cherishing their shared moments. She married the love of her life, Daniel Saldona De Estrella, on January 7, 1977. Together, they built a legacy of love and devotion that continues to shine brightly in the lives of their children and grandchildren. Daniel preceded her in death in 2022, and now, they are reunited in eternal peace.

She leaves behind a loving family to honor her memory: her son, Gabriel De Estrella, and his wife, Jackie; her daughter, Susana Bolieu, and her husband, Mark; her sisters, Lauren Lopez and Isabel Leon; and her eight beloved grandchildren, each of whom brought her great pride and joy.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen. A holy rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. in her honor.

Enriqueta’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to her loved ones will forever be remembered. She was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her, and her legacy of love and faith will endure for generations to come.
