Ervin Schulze

Services for Ervin M. Schulze, 77, of Killeen, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.BRBRErvin died March 11, 2008, in Temple. He was born March 14, 1930, in Killeen.BRBRHe was a lifelong resident of Killeen. He began working for the post office in 1949 in various positions until his retirement in 1979 as manager of customer service. He was also the shop foreman for the Killeen Independent School District from 1980 to 1992. He served as Rotary Club president of Killeen for several years.BRBRErvin married Janice Delano in 1952 in Killeen. He owned and ran his own lawn mower repair service shop and was a car enthusiast.BRBRErvin was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Laura Schulze.BRBRSurvivors include his wife, Janice Schulze of Killeen; his son, Kenny Schulze of Belton; his daughters, Diane Lanier and husband Tim of Coppell, and Debbie Hale and husband Hollis of Gatesville; and his brother, Leroy Schulze of Belton.BRBRVisitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.BRBR In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Immanuel Lutheran Church building fund, 1104 N. Fourth St., Killeen, TX 76541.
