Estela Cecilia Bowen

Estela Cecilia Bowen, age 72 of Killeen, Texas passed from this life Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in Temple, Texas. Services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Kingdom Life Church in Killeen at 11 am. Burial will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 10:30 am.

Estela was born July 30, 1952, to Oswaldo Miller and Iris May Naylor in Panama City, Panama. She worked as an office manager for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services until retirement. Estela was a breast cancer survivor and a beloved mother and grandmother. She volunteered and supported her church family at Kingdom Life Church in Killeen.

Estela is preceded by her parents; loving husband, Carlos Alonso Bowen, Sr; son, Carlos Jr; and sister, Berta James.

Survivors include her son, Anthony Bowen and wife, Ruby; daughter, Carla Bowen; daughter-in-law, Paula Bowen; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
