Services for Eunice B. Manes, 91, of Killeen will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ of Killeen with Boyce Edwards and Dan Carter officiating. Burial will be in Killeen Memorial Park. She died Oct. 15, 2009 in a local hospital. BRBRShe was born in Wells and graduated from Wells High School. She spent her early years there and in Tyler, where she married E.V. Manes in 1937. They moved to Killeen in 1954. She was a homemaker and a loving mother. She was a member of the Church of Christ. BRBRShe was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lydia Hearne; two brothers, Edward and Ray Hearne, and a sister, Leona Free. BRBRSurvivors include two sons, Michael R. Manes and his fiancee, Kena Walker, of Liverpool and Thomas E. Manes and his wife, Donna, of Austin; two grandchildren, Jonathan Manes and his wife, Eileen, of Austin, and Rachel Schmidt and her husband, Michael, of Round Rock; and three great-grandchildren, Shelby, Matthew and Abigail Schmidt, all of Round Rock. BRBRMemorials may be made to the Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 400 N. W.S. Young Drive, Killeen, TX 76543. BRBRThe family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen. BR
