Felipa Ibarra

Felipa “Fela” Ibarra, 76, passed away 11/20/2021 at her home in Belton. Services will be Tuesday, 11/23/21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Killeen with Father Amado officiating. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 11/22/21 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen.

Mrs. Felipa Ibarra was born 4/23/1945 in San Felipe, Guanajuato (Mexico), she grew up in the same place. Mrs. Ibarra was married for 62 years to her beloved husband J. Andres Rodriguez. She loved plants, flowers, and small birds, she loved going to church, listening to music, cooking for her entire family, spending time with her 21 grandchildren, loved family gatherings, going to the beach, and shopping.

Mrs. Felipa Ibarra was preceded in death by her youngest son Jose Mario Rodriguez.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years J. Andres Rodriguez, sons Martin Rodriguez and wife, Luisa Rodriguez and Jose Alfredo Rodriguez and wife, Rosa Cristina Rodriguez and daughters Manuela Rios and husband, Jose A. Rios, Maria Laura Hernandez and husband, Patricio Hernandez, Antonia Suchil and husband, Javier Suchil, Esperanza Orduna and husband, Irineo Orduna, and Maria Del Carmen Sanchez and husband, Edwardo Sanchez. Mrs. Ibarra has 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Rios, Jose Andrez Rodriguez, Patricio Hernandez, Miguel Angel Hernandez, Ozvaldo Hernandez, Francisco Javier Suchil and Omar Suchil.
