Florence Lee

Services for Florence Ellen Lee, 79, of Killeen will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at HarperTalasek Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Towers officiating. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.
Ms. Lee died Feb. 5, 2011, at a Killeen hospital. She was born March 21, 1931, in Midland to John P. Lee and Florence Larkin Lee.
Ms. Lee graduated from Avenue D High School in Killeen and later received her masters degree from Incarnate Word in San Antonio. She was a registered nurse and retired from Scott White Hospital in Temple.
Also, she operated a home health care service in the Bell County area.
Ms. Lee served as an instructor in the school of nursing at the University of Mary HardinBaylor in Belton. Ms. Lee also volunteered with Meals on Wheels in Temple.
She lived in Killeen and Temple, and she moved back to Killeen in 2007.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, John, Henry and Charles Lee.
Survivors include one sister, Doris and her husband, William Smith, of Killeen and 11 neices and nephews. She was a loving, caring person who always supported family members and others.
Memorials may be made to Heritage Hospice Care.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen.
