Frank Everett Wilson was born in Monroe, La on 7 October 1953 to the late Frank Wilson Sr. and Alberta Wilson (Bynum). He was the first born of twins and was number six of seven children. At a young age Frank accepted the Almighty God as the head of his life and was baptized as a member of Saint James Baptist church in Baskin, La. pastored by the late Reverend James Watkins.
Frank was a dedicated and nurturing husband and father whose first priority was always providing for his family. He was a true jack-of-all-trades and during his short stay with us and earned a living in various occupations to include: Steelworker Clarke Equipment Co. (Grand Rapids, Michigan), Janitorial Services (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), Trailer Factory Worker (Winnsboro, La), Montgomery Wards Maintenance Dept. (Monroe, La.), Plumber at Bruce Plumbing Co. (Monroe, La.), Janitorial Services at Sunshine Cleaners (Monroe, La), Nursing Home Orderly (Monroe, La), Laborer at Franklin Parish Police Jury (Winnsboro, La.), Truck Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator at River-barge Construction Co. (Monroe, La), Tractor Trailer Operator Lockwood Trucking Co. (Monroe, La), Construction Worker/Equipment Operator at E.R. Lawrence Construction Co. (Monroe, La) and finally Truck Operator Solid Waste Department (Killeen, Tx).
On 26 October 1974 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Jacqueline Wilson and fulfilled his duties as a loving, devoted and compassionate husband and provider until his last breath at 4:09 pm Tuesday 24 March 2015.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife Jacqueline Wilson of Killeen, Tx; his most cherished and surviving sisters Minnie Goldsmith (Wilson) Monroe, La; and Frankie Mathis Monroe, La; A Daughter Emily Canfield Las Vegas, Nevada; two sons Frederick Allen Wilson Killeen, Tx and William Devon Baker Monroe, La; 13 grandchildren including one on the way; 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. In death he is reunited with his aforementioned parents, brothers Rev. Riley Lewis Myles and Rev. Fred Edward Wilson; Sisters Zettie Edwards, Dora Williams and Frankie Jean Wilson.
