Memorial services for Fumiko Hinoue, 100, of Killeen, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen, with friends and family officiating. The body will be cremated.BRBRHinoue died Dec. 7, 2008, at her residence. She was born Jan. 10, 1908, in Hiroshima, Province Japan. She was educated in Japan.BRBRHinoue was an atomic bomb survivor. She became a teacher and preacher of Tenrikyo of Shinto religion.BRBRShe came to Killeen in 1966. She was a member of the Japanese American Ladies Club and an inactive member of the Killeen Volunteer Fire Department.BRBRHinoue was preceded in death by her husband, Shiro, one brother and two sisters.BRBRSurvivors include her daughters, Chieko Bonilla of Killeen, Midori Saiki of Fukuyama, Japan; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.BRBRMemorials may be sent to Providence Hospice, 4830 Lake Road, Waco, TX 76710.BR
