Gladys L. Hembree
A celebration of life service for Gladys L. Hembree, 90, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Killeen. Mrs. Hembree died June 8, 2010.

She lived in Killeen nearly all her life and moved to Austin to be near her family. The truly great love of her life was her late husband Louis Arthur Hembree, whom she married at age 21. They shared 63 years together, and they are together once again.

Survivors include her children, Louis A. Hembree Jr. of Prunedale, Calif., James Paul Hembree of Austin and Patricia Hembree Bennett of Amarillo and their spouses, three grandchildren and their spouses, six greatgrandchildren and many other family members.

Her family is especially grateful to the caring staff of Regency Nursing Home in Austin. We also thankfully acknowledge her friends from Order of the Eastern Star, Lodge No. 1125 and First Presbyterian Church of Killeen.

She has been joyfully reunited with those that have gone before her. May she rest in peace.

Visitation will be an hour before services Monday at First Presbyterian Church in Killeen.
