Services for Glenda Joyce Acker, 63, of Killeen, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Church of Christ in Killeen with Dan Carter and Boyce Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.BRBRShe died Jan. 8, 2008, in a Temple hospital.BRBRGlenda was born Jan. 31, 1944, in Poteet, TX, to Curtis and Joyce Knight. She graduated from Killeen High School in 1962. Glenda married Ronald Pryor Acker on February 6, 1965. Glendas favorite past-time was to watch sports that her family and friends participated in.

BRSurvivors include her husband, Ronnie, of Killeen; son, Ronald Glen and his wife Patty of Lampasas; son, John of Killeen; father, Curtis Knight of Killeen; brother Larry Knight and his wife Betty of Killeen; grandchildren, Keith, Jarod, Brianna, Laci and Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Knight.BRBRThe family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen, which is also handling the arrangements.
