Graveside services for Grace Lee Turnbo, 80, of Killeen, will be 4:00 p.m. Friday at Live Oak Cemetery in Youngsport, Texas with Joe Jarvis officiating.
Grace passed away Monday June 1, 2015, in Temple Texas. Grace was born in Hundred, West Virginia to the late George Jarvis and Susie Pearl Ater.
She was married to the late, Dempsey "Jim" Turnbo. Grace lived in Killeen, Texas over 63 years. She was employed with the Killeen Independent School District as a lunch room cook for approximately 10 years and the Killeen Hospital for 5 years.
Grace spent her days with her four legged children, Pooper and Bingo. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and loved playing bingo.
Mrs. Turnbo was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers: Ben, John and Snow; her beloved son in law: David Cockerham.
Mrs. Turnbo is survived by her two sons: Jimmy Schultz and his partner, Patricia Monroe; Tim "Tyke" Turnbo and his wife, Tammy; her daughter: Teresa Cockerham; nine grandchildren Brandi Schaub, David Monroe, Carmen Monroe, Candice and her husband, Jason Sherrill; Kyle Turnbo and his wife Christie, Lindsey Coffey, Casey Cockerham and his wife, Samantha; Cody Cockerham and his fiancée Carasha Randolph, Corey Cockerham and his wife, Holly and 15 great grandchildren.
