Hans Ruder

Services for Hans Peter Ruder, 69, of Waco, will be at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Ruder died July 4, 2011, in Waco. He was born Oct. 28, 1941, in Nuremberg, Germany.

He retired from the Navy with numerous awards.

Survivors include his stepfather, Roy J. Walkup son, Paul Messner halfbrother, Ron W. Walkup uncle, Ray Walkup two granddaughters one greatgranddaughter three nieces one grandniece one greatgrand niece and three nephews.

HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Killeen is in charge of arrangements.
