Memorial services for Harold D. Brown will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Trimmier on Chaparral Road, with Weldon Hicks and Wayne Sewell officiating.BRBRHarold D. Brown was born Jan. 25, 1929, in Rivertown, Utah.BRBRHe died Aug. 26, 2008, in Temple. Brown was born and educated in Rivertown, Utah. He joined the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. His awards included the Good Conduct Medal 3rd award, National Defense Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal. Upon retirement, he went to work as an electrician for Central Texas College for many years. After he retired from CTC, he stayed home and raised cattle.BRBRBrown was preceded in death by his parents.BRBRSurvivors include his wife, Martha Ann Brown of Killeen; son Walter Brown of Killeen; a daughter, Marijetta Long of Millheim, Pa.; a brother, John Browne of Rivertown, Utah; a sister Hellen Collins of Salt Lake City, Utah; Norma Castagno of Grantsville, Utah; grandchildren, Jim Long, Mary Ann Shook of Millheim, Pa.; Kelly Brown of Killeen; great-grandchildren, Teresa and Taylor Shook, Brittney and Breanna Long, all of Millheim, Pa.
